
Petes Shut out in Final Game of Road Trip

(Peterborough, ON) - The Saginaw Spirit shut out the Petes on Sunday evening to cap off what was otherwise a winning for the maroon and white. Peterborough earned four of six possible points to finish their Western Conference schedule.
Peterborough native Owen Tippett recorded a goal in the game which saw Tye Austin stop 15 of 21 shots through the first and second period before Hunter Jones turned away 12 of 14 shots in the third.
The Petes were 0/5 on the power play and 3/3 on the penalty kill.
The Petes return to home ice to host the Kingston Frontenacs on Thursday, March 7 at 7:05pm. Tickets are available through the Baker Tilly Box Office in person, over the phone at (705) 743-3561, and online.
