
Petes Beat QMJHL Champion Remparts to Stay Alive in the Memorial Cup

(Kamloops, BC) - On Tuesday, May 30, the Peterborough Petes took on the QMJHL Champion Quebec Remparts in their third and final Memorial Cup round robin game. The Petes won the game 4-2, meaning that they'll play a tie-breaker on Thursday, June 1 at 9:00 p.m. EDT against the loser of tomorrow's game between the host Kamloops Blazers and WHL Champion Seattle Thunderbirds.
Tucker Robertson led the way for the Petes with a goal and an assist, while Brian Zanetti picked up two assists. J.R. Avon, Avery Hayes, and Connor Lockhart all scored in the win. Brennan Othmann and Chase Stillman each had an assist. Michael Simpson stopped 26/28 for his first win of the tournament.
