Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Ninteen-year-old winger Garrett Peters will miss the opening of the 2006-2007 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season due to a sprained ligament in his left shoulder, General Manager Marcel Patenaude confirmed today, and will be lost to the team for an indefinite period.
Peters, who suffered the injury in the Mooseheads' 5-3 victory last Saturday in their final preseason game against the St. John's Fog Devils, will be examined by doctors again in two weeks for a further assessment.
