(Peterborough, ON) - Director and Coach Mike Lain of the Peterborough Hockey Association (PHA) is recognized as this week's exceptional minor hockey volunteer. The Petes want to celebrate local minor hockey volunteers for their contribution to the planning, organizing and execution of local minor hockey's return to the ice this season.

Lain is described as being an outstanding volunteer and coach who goes above and beyond for his players in order to develop their confidence. He has been celebrated for the values he continuously instills in players and for creating a team environment focused on fun and positivity

Each week the Petes will recognize and celebrate one volunteer from the PMHC, PHA, PGHA, and local adaptive hockey organizations who acknowledges that this hockey season has required additional time and effort to ensure a safe return for players to the rink.

The Petes welcome players, parents and other members of the minor hockey community to nominate deserving local volunteers by filling out this form.
