Hershey Bears News Release

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced Saturday in conjunction with their NHL parent clubs that center Eric Perrin has been recalled to the Tampa Bay Lightning and rugged right wing Dennis Bonvie has been recalled by the Colorado Avalanche.

This is the first NHL recall for Perrin in his professional career that began in 1997-98 with the old Cleveland Lumberjacks in the International Hockey League. He is currently second in the AHL in scoring with 75 points. Perrin is expected to be in the lineup tonight when Tampa Bay hosts the Washington Capitals at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Bonvie earns his first recall to Colorado since a trade that brought him to the Avalanche organization on January 23rd. He has previous NHL experience with the Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhawks, Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators. He is expected to play this afternoon for the Avalanche at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit against the Red Wings.

The BEARS play Manchester tonight at GIANT Center. Face-off is at 7:00 pm.
