Hershey Bears News Release
3/27/2004 9:40:00 PM - A goal in each period by the Monarchs does in the Chocolate and White as former HERSHEY defenseman Bryan Muir gets the game-winner.
The Monarchs scored the first goal of the game when former BEARS defenseman Muir fired a power play goal from Denis Grebeshkov and Pavel Rosa at the 19:08 mark of the first period. Both teams fired 10 shots on goal in the first 20 minutes, but the Monarchs held the one goal lead at first intermission. A second period goal by Mike Cammarlleri followed by a third period tally by Noah Clarke would seal HERSHEY'S fate. Adam Hauser earned his seventh shutout of the season with a 3-0 final score.
The BEARS begin a five game road trip Sunday in Albany. Face-off at Pepsi Arena is slated for 5:00 p.m.
