
Ducks, Barons settle for tie

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Tony Martensson had a goal and an assist as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks settled for a 3-3 tie with the Cleveland Barons Saturday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Joel Perrault and Pierre Parenteau also scored for the Ducks, who extended their unbeaten streak to four games (2-0-2-0). Mike Mottau earned an assist on Martensson's goal in the second period to extend his point streak to a season-high four games.
Ryane Clowe, Tavis Hansen and Shane Joseph scored for Cleveland, which rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the second period to improve to 3-0-1-0 in its last four games.
Ilya Bryzgalov made 28 saves for Cincinnati, while Seamus Kotyk stopped 27 shots for Cleveland.
The Ducks begin a six-game, four-team, 11-day road trip Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at San Antonio.
