
Pepsi named title sponsor of UHL All-Star Game Classic

Rockford, Ill.- The United Hockey League announced that Pepsi has been named title sponsor of the sixth UHL All-Star Game Classic. The game will take place on Monday, January 24 at the Civic Center Plaza in Glens Falls, New York and hosted by the Adirondack Frostbite.
The All-Star teams will be divided up into two squads according to geographic location. The team names are Team Pepsi and Team Mountain Dew. Players representing the IceHogs at the All-Star Classic will skate for Team Mountain Dew along with members from the Fort Wayne Komets, Kalamazoo Wings, Kansas City Outlaws, Missouri River Otters, Muskegon Fury and Quad City Mallards.
Team Pepsi will suit up representatives from the Frostbite, Danbury Trashers, Elmira Jackals, Flint Generals, Motor City Mechanics, Port Huron Beacons and Richmond River Dogs. The Civic Center Plaza, home of the Frostbite, seats 4,806 fans, and has housed a UHL franchise the past eight seasons.
Pepsi is not only a proud sponsor of the UHL, but a proud supporter of the IceHogs. Pepsi-Cola of Rockford is proud to have supported the IceHogs in each of the teams six seasons of play in the Rock River Valley. Pepsi is the official soft drink of the IceHogs and the Rockford MetroCentre.
