
Penn State and Defending National Champion Denver to Compete in NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Midwest Regional at PPL Center

Allentown, PA - Following the 2018 NCAA Hockey Selection Show at 12:00 p.m., the Division I Men's Ice Hockey Committee has announced the Championship bracket for the 16 remaining teams on the road to the National Title. Amongst those 16 teams, Ohio State, Princeton, Denver, and Penn State will compete at the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Midwest Regional at PPL Center in Allentown on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25.
The single-elimination Regional Semifinal competition match-ups on Saturday will include Ohio State vs. Princeton at 3:30 p.m., followed by Denver vs. Penn State at 7:00 p.m. The two winning teams will face off in a single-elimination Regional Final on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The Midwest Regional Champion, along with the winning teams from the three other Regional sites, will then advance to the Frozen Four and compete at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota on April 5 and 7 for the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship Title.

Single-session tickets start at $29.50 or fans can witness the excitement of the entire Regional tournament for tickets starting at $71.00.
PPL Center continues to solidify itself as a destination for major sporting events, as it was selected by NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Committee to host the 2018 and 2019 Regional tournaments back in April of 2017. Penn State University will serve as the host institution.
