Wednesday, Oct. 28 - PENGUINS 4 vs. Binghamton 3

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton allowed two power play goals to Binghamton and surrendered a 3-1 lead in the second period, but went on to win thanks to a third period game-winning goal by Jean-Sébastien Dea. Tyler Biggs, playing in his first game as a Penguin, scored in the second and added an assist on the game-winner. Tristan Jarry made 26 saves on 29 shots en route to his second pro win, and even recorded an assist on Biggs' goal.

Friday, Oct. 30 - PENGUINS 4 vs. Hartford 1

Scott Wilson, returning from a one-game suspension served on Wednesday night, scored twice to help the Penguins beat the Wolf Pack in a showdown of the top two teams in the Eastern Conference. Matt Murray made 29 saves, improving to 5-1-0-0 on the season and earned his first pro assist. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's power play was held off the score sheet for the third consecutive game, its longest dry spell of the season. The Pens' penalty kill returned to form with a three-for-three performance, including a shorthanded goal from Oskar Sundqvist.

The Week Ahead

Wednesday, Nov. 4 - PENGUINS vs. St. John's

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and St. John's play the first of two consecutive games at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza on Wednesday night. The Penguins are undefeated on home ice (4-0-0-0), and the IceCaps have dropped three of their last four games.

Friday, Nov. 6 - PENGUINS vs. St. John's

The Penguins and IceCaps meet again for their second match-up of the season just two days after their first meeting. It will be the Penguins' fifth game in a seven game home stand, and the IceCaps' fifth-straight road contest amidst a six-game tour of the AHL's Pennsylvania teams.

Ice Chips

- Penguins defenseman Will O'Neill will be playing in his first game(s) against St. John's after spending all three seasons of his pro career prior to 2015-16 with the IceCaps.

- Tom Kohnhackl has points in all four of his games played this season.

- Oskar Sundqvist's shorthanded tally against Hartford was the Penguins' first shorthanded goal at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza since Apr. 12, 2014 (43 home games).

- Tristan Jarry and Matt Murray's assists on Wednesday and Friday marked the first time in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton history that Penguins goalies recorded assists in consecutive games.

- Both St. John's and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton have allowed just four power play goals against all season, but the IceCaps' P.K. operates at 89.4% compared to the Penguins' 88.6%.
