Friberg Recalled by Anaheim

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that forward Max Friberg has been recalled by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate. In addition, right wing Tim Jackman has been assigned to the Gulls by Anaheim and defensemen Eric Knodel and goalie Ryan Faragher have been reassigned to Utah (ECHL) by San Diego.

Friberg, 22 (11/20/92), has appeared in seven games with San Diego this season, recording 3-2=5 points with a +2 rating. At the time of his recall, Friberg ranked tied for third among team leaders in scoring and plus/minus, tied for second in goals and first in shorthanded goals (1). The 5-11, 200-pound left wing made his NHL debut with Anaheim last season on Dec. 28, 2014 vs. Vancouver, going scoreless in 8:47 time-on-ice (TOI).

Jackman, 33 (11/14/81), has appeared in two games with Anaheim this season, going scoreless with four PIM. Acquired from Calgary in exchange for a sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Draft on Nov. 21, 2013, Jackman collected 8-2=11 points with 152 PIM in 83 career games with the Ducks.

Knodel and Faragher did not appear with San Diego during their most recent recall.
