Bunting Reassigned to Springfield, Aulie Signed to PTO

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today that the Arizona Coyotes have reassigned forward Michael Bunting to the Falcons. In a separate transaction, defenseman Keith Aulie has been signed a Professional Tryout Contract.

The 20-year-old Bunting skated in two games with the Rapid City Rush (ECHL) since his reassignment on October 30. The 6-foot, 191-pound native of Scarborough, ON played in 57 games last season with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) and totalled 37-37-74 with 39 penalty minutes (PIM). Bunting was drafted by the Coyotes in the fourth round (117th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

The 26-year-old Aulie appeared in 31 games with the Edmonton Oilers in 2014-15. The 6-foot-6, 228- pound native of Rouleau, SK also dressed in eight games with the Oklahoma City Barons. Aulie has collected 8-17-25 and 163 PIM in 138 career AHL games with the Abbotsford Heat, Toronto Marlies, Norfolk Admirals, Syracuse Crunch and Oklahoma City Barons. He was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the fourth round (116th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Falcons continue their string of road games with a contest against Portland on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Falcons conclude their three-game road trip in Bridgeport with a 7 p.m. game. All games can be heard live on NewsRadio560 WHYN.
