Sat., Oct. 11 - PENGUINS 2 vs. Lehigh Valley 5
Chris VandeVelde found the back of the net twice and the Phantoms went 3-for-5 on the power play as Lehigh Valley took the first meeting of the new PA Turnpike rivalry against the Penguins. W-B/Scranton's Bryan Rust and Conor Sheary each picked up his first regular season goal as a professional in the loss.
Sun., Oct. 12 - PENGUINS 1 vs. Manchester 4
The Monarchs received a goal and an assist from both Brian O'Neill and Kevin Raine in skating to a 4-1 win over the Penguins at Mohegan Sun Arena. With WBS down, 2-0, in the second period, Jean Sebastien Dea's first pro goal cut Manchester's lead in half at 8:37. But Vincent LoVerde and Raine would go on to score within the next four minutes to build the three-goal lead for the Monarchs.

Fri., Oct. 17 - Penguins at ST. JOHN'S
Sat., Oct. 18 - Penguins at ST. JOHN'S
The Penguins will make the trip to Newfoundland for a two- game set at Mile One Center that includes the IceCaps' home opener on Friday night. St. John's has gone 1-1-1-0 through its first three games. The leading scorer for the IceCaps in 2012-13, Eric O'Dell, has four points (2G-2A) in three games this season.
Tue., Oct. 21 - PENGUINS vs. Albany
In their only game of the AHL's opening weekend, the Devils trounced the Adirondack Flames, 5-1, on the back of a four- goal performance from former Penguin Paul Thompson. W-B/Scranton won three of the four meetings last season against the Devils.
Ice Chips
- Every goal during opening weekend for the Penguins was netted by a rookie forward (Jean-Sebastien Dea, Bryan Rust and Conor Sheary).
- The Penguins did not allow a shot on goal in the third on Sunday against Manchester, marking the first time in team history that W-B/Scranton has held an opponent shotless in a period.
- Bobby Farnham's penalty shot attempt versus the Monarchs was the Penguins' first at home since March 14 when Andrew Ebbett beat Devan Dubnyk of the Hamilton Bulldogs.
- W-B/Scranton is now 7-9-0-0 all-time in their season opener and 8-8-0-0 in their first home game of the season.
