Wed., Apr. 30 - PENGUINS 3 at Binghamton 2 (OT)
W-B/Scranton and Binghamton took to overtime for the third straight game, and it was Chuck Kobasew tipping in the game-winner to help the Penguins to a 3-2 victory and the 2- 1 series lead. Nick Drazenovic opened the scoring with a 5- on-3 power play goal at 7:32 of the first. Adam Payerl also scored for W-B/Scranton in the contest. Peter Mannino turned aside 20-of-22 for the Penguins.
Fri., May 2 - PENGUINS 5 at Binghamton 1
The Penguins closed out their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series in four games with a convincing 5-1 win over the Senators. Chuck Kobasew and Brian Dumoulin strung together goals on the man-advantage to give the Penguins a 2-0 edge by the 1:19 mark of the second period. Dominik Uher picked up his first pro playoff goal later in the frame to make it a three-goal margin for W-B/Scranton. Andrew Ebbett also added a goal and two assists in the game.

Sat., May 10 - PENGUINS vs. Providence - Game 2 ECSF
W-B/Scranton and Providence will take the ice for a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference Semifinal series, in which the Penguins became the first team in AHL history to rally from a 3-0 series deficit and win Game 7 on the road. This year, the Bruins moved on to the second round after defeating the Springfield Falcons in five games in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal. Seth Griffith leads Providence in the postseason with six points (2G-4A) and is tied for second among all playoff scorers. This is just the second-ever postseason meeting between W-B/Scranton and Providence.
The Bruins took home the Calder Cup in 1999.

- Dating back to the regular season, Chuck Kobasew has scored in 12 of 16 games with W-B/Scranton, including three of four contests in the playoffs.
- Making his pro playoff debut on Wednesday versus Binghamton, Conor Sheary had the primary assist on Kobasew's overtime game-winning goal.
- With a helper on Friday versus Binghamton, Tom Kostopoulos tied W-B/Scranton's all-time mark for assists in the playoffs, set by defenseman Alex Goligoski (29).
- Kostopoulos stands as the Penguins' all-time leader with 41 playoff points (12g-29a).
- W-B/Scranton has the home-ice advantage in a series for the first time since the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal versus Hershey.
- Taking the ice on Friday for his pro playoff debut, Bryan Rust was awarded the sixth penalty shot in Penguins postseason history. His ensuing attempt was stopped by Binghamton goalie Andrew Hammond.
- The Penguins are 2-for-6 all-time on penalty shots in the playoffs.
- Brian Dumoulin is tied for second among defenseman in the postseason with five points (1G-4A).
