
Penguins reassign Fata to Nailers

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. â The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today reassigned defenseman Drew Fata to their ECHL affiliate, the Wheeling Nailers.
Fata, 22, has appeared in 19 games with the Penguins this season, recording two points (1+1) and 52 penalty minutes. In six games with the Nailers this season, he has one assist and 24 penalty minutes. Fata was recalled from Wheeling on January 5.
The 6'1", 209-pound native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round (86th overall) of the 2001 Entry Draft.
Fata will join the Nailers today in Reading and is expected to be in the lineup tonight against the Royals. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. at the Sovereign Center.
With the roster move, the Penguins now have 24 players on their roster - two goaltenders, seven defensemen and 15 forwards.
The Penguins host the first-place Philadelphia Phantoms tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.
A limited number of single seats are available for tonight's game. Tonight's game will be also televised live on Adelphia 63, WNEP-TV's 24-Hour News Channel.
Plenty of good seats are still available for tomorrow's game against the Syracuse Crunch (5:05 p.m. start). Approximately 434 tickets are still available for the game.
