PEI Rocket Game Change Confirmed

December 1, 2010 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
P.E.I. Rocket News Release

The PEI Rocket have announced that they have secured January 20th as the official date for the make-up game with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

The game has been postponed twice, so Rocket GM Kent Hudson is hoping that this will be the last change. "Yes, we hope that the game on January 20th will work out well for both teams. It has certainly been a challenge securing a makeup date that works for Acadie-Bathurst, ourselves and the Charlottetown Civic Centre", said the GM of Business Operations. "We are pleased that we can provide ample notice to fans so that they can adjust their schedules appropriately to attend the game", he added.

There were limited options for the game to be rescheduled because of the very busy schedules in the QMJHL. "We were actually lucky to be able to find a date that worked for everyone", said Hudson. "We apologize for any inconvenience and confusion that this situation may have caused with our fans".

The Rocket have an extremely busy month ahead. With 10 games in 18 days before the Christmas break (5 home and 5 away), this is a very tough schedule for the players.

For the busy month of December the Rocket have also announced that student and youth tickets will be only $5.00 plus taxes for the entire month. With 6 home games, this gives Island youth a great opportunity to see some Rocket games at reduced pricing.
