Pederson Returned to Jackals

Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced Wednesday that defenseman Jody Pederson has been returned to the team from his loan to the AHL's Worcester Sharks.
Pederson is +1 through eight games with Elmira this season and played in three games with the Sharks after being loaned by the Jackals on Nov. 30, recording a +1.
The rookie from Smithers, British Columbia is fifth all-time among Princeton defensemen with 58 points.
Elmira is in Trenton tonight for a 7:00 p.m. game against the Devils.
The Jackals are back at First Arena to host the Devils on Friday and Saturday, with both games starting at 7:35 p.m. Friday's game is Teddy Bear Toss and 4 for $44 night, while Saturday's game is Toys for Children night. Fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to throw onto the ice when Elmira scores its first goal on Friday. The teddy bears will then be collected and donated to children at St. Joseph's Hospital by Jackals players. The first 100 fans to bring a toy to donate to children on Saturday will receive a t-shirt courtesy of the Pembrook Pines Media Group.
