Peach goal lifts Havoc to win

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Chris Peach scored with 2:01 left in the third period breaking a 2-2 tie and lifting the Huntsville Havoc to a 3-2 win over the Jacksonville Barracudas Thursday night in front of 2,331 fans.

The Barracudas took a 1-0 lead at the 5:07 mark of the second period when Chad Peck scored. Jesse Baraniuk scored his first professional goal with 8:38 left in the second period to tie the game.

Peck added a short-handed goal to open the scoring in the third period. James Patterson answered with a short-handed goal of his own with 7:53 left in the game before Peach scored the game winner.

Matt Carmichael made 20 saves to get his 11th win of the season. Pat Berrigan made 28 in the loss. Both teams when scoreless on the power play, Huntsville with four chances, Jacksonville with three.

The Havoc will host the Columbus Cottonmouths tomorrow night at 7:30.
