PawSox to Host Free Open House Saturday, March 19

The Pawtucket Red Sox welcome all fans to "A Touch of Spring" on Saturday afternoon, March 19, at McCoy Stadium. The event, which is free, runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Fans can enjoy back-of-the-house tours, directed by PawSox staff, taking fans from the PawSox Clubhouse to the dugout to the playing field and much more. Fans can also wander at their leisure, seeing the photographs and artifacts that adorn the Hall of History, as well as the exhibit that depicts the history of professional baseball.
Former Red Sox southpaw Lenny DiNardo, who pitched 22 games for the historic 2004 World Champions, will be on hand to take photographs and sign autographs. Kids can also meet and play with mascots Paws & Sox.
Other surprises are in store during this fun-filled family event which will also include free food, drink, music, and more.
Colorful balloons will serve as tags to indicate what seats are still available for the 2016 season, and the PawSox Box Office and Team Store will be open throughout the day.
"We have had a taste of spring recently, and we would like to add a touch of spring to that experience," said PawSox President Dr. Charles Steinberg. "We invite fans to touch their seats, see their field, and watch their Red Sox on the video board.
The Boston Red Sox Spring Training game vs. the St. Louis Cardinals from JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, FL will be shown on the McCoy Stadium video board starting at 1:05 p.m.
