Carolina Thunderbirds News Release

Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds on Thursday announced a handful of moves to their active roster ahead of the 7:35 P.M. puck drop at the Fairgrounds Annex.

The Thunderbirds have signed goalie Christian Pavlas after he was let go from the Macon Mayhem earlier this week.

The Thunderbirds have also signed forward Beau Walker to a professional try out agreement. Walker was previously a part of Eastern Washington University hockey where he spent 5 years before arriving in Evansville and now Carolina this season.

In a corresponding move, Kelly Curl has been released from his PTO and will move to the inactive roster for Carolina.

The Thunderbirds and Mentor Ice Breakers play the second of a three game set tonight at the Fairgrounds Annex, 7:35 P.M. puck drop.
