Pavan Joins Sags, Trenholm Now a Wildcat

The Moncton Wildcats recently completed a pair of transactions.

On Monday afternoon, Nicolas Pavan was acquired by Chicoutimi. The Wildcats received a 2023 5th Round draft pick in exchange for the 19 year-old, 6 ‚¬Â³2 ‚¬Â², 195 lb forward and a 2023 7th Round pick. Pavan was a 2019 4th Round pick (64th overall) of the Wildcats, and put up 23 points (8G, 15A) over 114 games.

Tuesday morning, the Wildcats sent a pair of 2nd Round picks to Saint John for 19 year-old centreman Connor Trenholm.

Trenholm (6 ‚¬Â³1 ‚¬Â², 191 lb) is a 2022 Memorial Cup champion and brother of former Wildcats star Nathan Welton. He has amassed 73 points (26G, 47A) over 188 QMJHL games with Saint John and Cape Breton

Like his older brother, Trenholm will wear #27 when he suits up against the Eagles on Wednesday night.
