
Patriot Flag to Stop at Mayo Field

Rochester, MN - The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club is proud to announce that on August 1, 2011 the Patriot Flag will be making it's only current scheduled stop in Minnesota, at Mayo Field in Rochester.
The Patriot Flag has been traveling around the United States honoring those lost in the September 11 Attacks. It will make its final stops in Shanksville, PA, Arlington, VA and Manhattan N.Y.C. on September 11, 2011, the tenth anniversary of the attacks. Minnesota is one of the last states it has yet to visit in the tour of 50 States in 50 Weeks.
Come show your American Pride on Monday, August 1, 2011 when the Honkers take on the Willmar Stingers at 7:05 pm. All active or retired Military Personnel who show a valid military I.D. will receive free admission to the game.
The first 500 fans will receive a free set of Hometown Hero Trading Cards courtesy of the D.A.V. which will have local servicemen and women as well as some of your favorite Honker players and Slider.
