
Patrick Nyarko up for MLS Goal of the Week

CHICAGO, IL (July 20, 2009) - Patrick Nyarko has earned his first MLS Goal of the Week nomination after scoring his third goal of the season this past Saturday against the San Jose Earthquakes. Nyarko's goal helped Chicago to win the match and solely claim the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Cuauhtémoc Blanco passed to Nyarko in the 82nd minute, and Nyarko was able to knock the ball out of the air and past San Jose's goalkeeper Joe Cannon.
