
Pat Trettel to Join Wild Things

Washington, PA - The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, announced today that North Allegheny High School graduate (catcher) Pat Trettel will join the Washington team for the 2013 season.
The Wexford native has split his professional baseball time among several teams, including the AA Lincoln Salt Dogs, the AA Kansas City T-Bones and the Independent Normal CornBelters.
"Pat is an outstanding baseball player with excellent knowledge of the game," said North Allegheny High School's Athletic Director, Bob Bozutto. "Offensively, Pat has the ability to hit for both power and average. Defensively, Pat has solid mechanics, a strong arm and his knowledge of the game enables him to work effectively with his pitching staff. Pat will be an outstanding role model for all our young Washington Wild Things baseball fans who aspire to play the game."
A graduate of Seton Hill University, Trettel completed the 2012 season with eight home runs, 29 RBI, and a .225 batting average.
The Wild Things, who will host their 2013 Home Opener or Friday, May 24th, have a variety of holiday gift ideas including season ticket packages.
