Tri-City Storm News Release
KEARNEY â The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League learned Monday that former Storm forward Scott Parse was chosen in the National Hockey League's entry draft held over the weekend.
In a previous release Chris Zarb and Geoff Paukovich were listed as the two current or former Storm players taken in this year's draft. Parse, who played for the Storm during the 2002-03 season, added his name to that list when the Los Angeles Kings selected him in the sixth round with the 174th overall pick.
Parse spent the 2003-04 season with University of Nebraska at Omaha and scored 16 goals and had 19 assists to lead his team with 35 points. He is the fourth Storm player to have been selected during a NHL entry draft.
