
Parking and Transportation Plan for 103rd Grey Cup Festival, Championship Game Unveiled

Winnipeg - With the 103rd Grey Cup Championship Game and Grey Cup Festival less than two weeks away, both local and visiting fans will be looking to make plans to efficiently and safely get to and from the many special events around Winnipeg including the big game.
There are a wide variety of transportation options available from the start of the Grey Cup Festival events on Thursday, November 26th, right through to Grey Cup Sunday on November 29th, both before and after the game.
Grey Cup game day parking will operate as it does for all football games and other special events at Investors Group Field. Parking passes may be purchased in advance for $20.00 per vehicle or $10.00 per vehicle for Value Lot Parking at the back of the university. Patrons parked in the Value Lot will have access to a shuttle running every 10-15 minutes to transport them to the stadium.
Game day on-campus cash parking will also be available on a first come, first served basis for $20.00 per car or $10.00 for the Value Lot.

Game day Park & Ride presented by Manitoba Public Insurance will also be offered on Grey Cup Sunday, with patrons receiving a free ride with the presentation of their Grey Cup game ticket. There will be six Park & Ride locations available on game day.
On game day, Airport Hotels to Investors Group Field Express (AHTIGF) service will also run on Grey Cup Sunday beginning two hours before the game with four stops. This service is also free to fans presenting a game ticket; buses will arrive at these stops approximately every 10 minutes.
Also on game day, Winnipeg Transit has several routes that will operate to and from the University of Manitoba before and after the game. Winnipeg Transit reminds all passengers to check their bus schedules before leaving for the game. Passengers will receive a free ride upon showing their Grey Cup game ticket.
The free Running Back Shuttle will also operate on game day. The Running Back Shuttle will run from the stadium in a clockwise loop, west on Chancellor Matheson, north on Pembina, and south on University Crescent back to the stadium. Rides are free with the presentation of a 103rd Grey Cup game ticket.
There are also many transportation options for fans to safely get to 103rd Grey Cup Festival events throughout Winnipeg.
Two free Winnipeg Transit Grey Cup Festival shuttles will operate starting on Thursday, November 26th: the Airport Shuttle (Grey Cup Blue) and the Downtown Shuttle (Grey Cup Gold). Both shuttles will run throughout Grey Cup Festival week and will offer late night service.

* Game Day parking may be purchased in advance;

Park & Ride locations include:
* Route A - Park & Ride Super Express - McPhillips Station Casino - 484 McPhillips Street. The McPhillips Station Park & Ride can accommodate up to 500 cars; * Route B - Park & Ride Super Express - Club Regent - 1425 Regent Ave West. The Club Regent Park & Ride can accommodate up to 125 cars. **Due to construction in and around the Park & Ride lot at Club Regent Casino, parking space is limited on the west-side of the Casino. Fans parking at this Park & Ride location are welcome to park in any of the other general parking at Club Regent as an overflow option should the west lot be full. * * Route C - Park & Ride Super Express - Centre Scolaire Leo-Remillard (CSLR) - 1095 St. Anne's Road. CSLR can accommodate up to 120 cars. * Route D - Park & Ride Super Express - Manitoba Hydro - 820 Taylor Avenue. The Manitoba Hydro Park & Ride can accommodate up to 500 cars. * Route E - Park & Ride Super Express - at Assiniboia Downs. The Assiniboia Downs Park & Ride can accommodate up to 300 cars.
* Route F - Park & Ride Super Express -- Southdale Red River Co-op Food Store. The Southdale Park & Ride can accommodate up to 300 cars.
Airport - Investors Group Field Express
- The Airport Hotels to Investors Group Field Express service will commence at 3:00pm (2 hours before kickoff) and will begin loading at the Greyhound Bus Depot at the Airport;
- The following stops will be made before heading direct to Investors Group Field:
o Bus Stop #20075 - Eastbound Wellington at Berry
o Bus Stop #20063 - Southbound King Edward at Wellington
o Temporary Bus Stop at Southbound King Edward at Sargent
o Bus Stop #20092 - Eastbound Ellice near Century
- Look for the special notice boards reading "Grey Cup Airport - Investors Group Field Express" at the bus stop locations;
- Buses will arrive at the bus stops every 10 minutes;
- Passengers will receive a free ride upon showing their 103rd Grey Cup game ticket;
- Post-game:
o Buses will load on Chancellor Matheson. Look for the signage at Investors Group Field to find where your bus is loading, or ask a Transit Supervisor for assistance;

o Buses will stop at the same bus stops as the arrival route, but in the reverse order, with service ending at the Greyhound Bus Depot.
Transit Service to the Stadium
Winnipeg Transit has several routes that will operate to and from the University of Manitoba before and after the game. Winnipeg Transit reminds all passengers to check their bus schedules before leaving for the game. Passengers will receive a free ride upon showing their Grey Cup game ticket. * 60 Pembina Buses will operate approximately every 15 minutes * 75 Crosstown East Buses will operate approximately every 15 minutes * 78 Crosstown West Buses leaving Polo Park will operate approximately every 10 minutes (this means 20 minutes between buses on the split portion of the route) * 160 Downtown - University of Manitoba Buses will operate approximately every 10 minutes * 170 Downtown - Ft. Richmond (U of M) - St. Norbert Buses will operate approximately every 10 minutes
Post-Game Service
After the game, all buses on routes 75, 78 and 160 will be lined up on Chancellor Matheson heading west towards Pembina. There will be no charge to passengers post-game for these routes.
Route 170 can be caught at its regular stop, University Crescent at Freedman.
Wayfinding signage will be posted at Investors Group Field to help you find where to board your bus after the game.

Running Back Shuttle
The Running Back Shuttle will run from the stadium in a clockwise loop, west on Chancellor Matheson, north on Pembina, and south on University Crescent back to the stadium.
Note: the last Running Back Shuttle will arrive at Investors Group Field 10 minutes after the game is scheduled to begin and will not operate after the game. Catch a Route 160 bus on Chancellor Matheson after the game to get back to Pembina Highway. Buses will run west on Chancellor Matheson and north on Pembina making all stops between Investors Group Field and downtown.
There will be no charge to passengers using the Running Back Shuttle service.

Airport Shuttle
The 103rd Grey Cup - Blue Shuttle service is being offered that will connect you to the RBC Convention Centre, the Downtown hotels, and the hotels along Pembina Highway. The Grey Cup Blue Express will operate free of charge from November 26 - November 28, as well as on Monday November 30, 2015. The 103rd Grey Cup - Blue Shuttle will operate from the Greyhound terminal building, located at the James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.

Downtown Shuttle
With many of the 103rd Grey Cup activities taking place in the Downtown area the 103rd Grey Cup - Downtown Gold Shuttle service is the easiest and most convenient way to get around from the Downtown hotels to the event venues. This free shuttle will operate throughout the week from 10am to 11:30pm. Buses will operate every 15 minutes and will link the RBC Convention centre and the University of Winnipeg to all of the downtown hotels.
Late Night Service from the RBC Convention Centre
The Grey Cup Blue Shuttle and the Grey Cup - Downtown Gold Shuttle will operate several late-night trips on Thursday, November 26 until Saturday, November 28. These trips will operate from the RBC Convention Centre to various hotels at midnight, 1:00 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.
- The 103rd Grey Cup - Blue Shuttle will leave the Convention Centre and service hotels in the airport area and along Pembina Highway.
- The 103rd Grey Cup - Downtown Gold Shuttle will leave the Convention Centre and service hotels in the downtown.
