
Parizek Honored by NCHC

Former Aberdeen Wings captain and current forward for the University of Nebraska-Omaha hockey club Justin Parizek received honorable mention from the National Collegiate Hockey Conference for "Rookie Of The Week".
Over the weekend, UNO split games with the University of Michigan in which Parizek had three assists, including two on Saturday. He also logged a +3 rating. Parizek faced former teammate and Michigan goaltender Zach Nagelvoort. Nagelvoort has been a Big 10 Conference Star of the Week twice this season.
Come see new college committed Aberdeen Wings players take on the rival Bismarck Bobcats both Friday and Saturday at the Odde Ice Center. These current and former Aberdeen Wings have committed to play hockey in the upcoming seasons; #27 Erik Baskin (Air Force Academy), #15 Jordan Heller (Bemidji State), #3 Steven Johnson (Minnesota Golden Golphers), and #20 Peter Krieger (Alaska-Fairbanks). Johnson and Krieger currently play in the USHL.
