
Paris Jackson agrees to contract extension with Lions

The BC Lions Football Club announced today that receiver Paris Jackson has agreed to terms on a contract extension. Terms of the deal were not released.
"Paris has developed into one the league's premier receivers and we have significant expectations of him this season and beyond," said Lions GM and head coach, Wally Buono.
Jackson enters his seventh season with the Leos after originally joining the club as its first-round selection (sixth overall) in the 2003 CFL Canadian Draft. The Vancouver-native has appeared in 98 regular season games as a Lion notching 256 receptions for 3,616 yards and 21 touchdowns.
In 2008, Paris established career highs for receptions (76) and yards (1,180) as well as TD's (8) on his way to being nominated as the club's Outstanding Canadian.
Note: BC Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono and Paris Jackson will be available to the media on Monday, February 9th at the club's Surrey practice facility at 11:00 am.
