
Panthers Sign C Vincent Trocheck to Entry Level Contract

SUNRISE, FLA - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms on an entry-level contract with C Vincent Trocheck.
Trocheck has also signed an Amateur Try-Out (ATO) and will report to the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
In his third season with Saginaw of the Ontario Hockey League, Trocheck led all Spirit skaters and ranked T-9th among all OHL players with 85 points (29-56-85) in 65 regular-season games in 2011-12. The 18-year-old also added 11 points (5-6-11) in 12 playoff games for Saginaw this season.
In his three-season OHL career, the Pittsburgh native totaled 190 points (70-120-190) and 181 PIM in 201 regular-season games. Trocheck added 26 points (13-13-26) and 16 PIM in 30 playoff games.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound center was selected by Florida in the third round (64th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
