
Palausch Selected to Team Germany

The Aberdeen Wings organization is proud to announce that Wings forward #25 Lennart Palausch has been selected to play for Team Germany in the 2014 World Junior Championships.
The 2014 World Junior Championships will be held in Malmo, Sweden starting December 26th. Palausch, a member of Team Germany for the 2012 IIHF World U18 Championships was named one of the three best players in the tournament as decided by the directorate. Palausch played against current NHL players like Nashville Predators defenseman Seth Jones, Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg, Anaheim Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm, and Minnesota Wild defenseman Matthew Dumba, among many others.
"We are very excited for Lennart and his opportunity to represent his country at the highest level of junior hockey in the world," stated Wings head coach Travis Winter. "The World Junior Championships are the pinnacle of Junior Hockey and we wish him luck during the tournament."

The Aberdeen Wings are in action this weekend as Friday they head to Minot, and Saturday at home inside the Odde Ice Center against the Minotauros. Reserved seating is $12, General Admission just $10. Plus do your Christmas shopping at the Wings ProShop starting Saturday at 5:30pm.
