Paints 2007 Schedule Announced

The 2007 Frontier League schedule has been announced with the addition of two new teams and a new three division format.
The Chillicothe Paints will open the 2007 campaign on Wednesday, May 23rd on the road, visiting the Florence Freedom.
The Paints will open the home season at V.A. Memorial Stadium on Friday, May 25th, against one of the league's new teams, Slippery Rock (PA). The other new member of the Frontier League will be the Southern Illinois Miners, located in Marion, IL.
In years past, the league has been divided into two divisions, but in 2007 there will the East, West and Central divisions. Chillicothe will be a member of the East Division, along with Florence, Slippery Rock and Washington. The Central division will be comprised of Kalamazoo, Traverse City, Rockford and Windy City, while the West will be made up of Evansville, Gateway, Southern Illinois and River City.
The three division champions, plus a wildcard team (best overall record) will determine the post-season playoff scenario.
2007 schedules are available at the Paints' Gift Shop in downtown Chillicothe.
The Paints' will again treat their fans to a "Fireworks Extravaganza" on opening night. Other fireworks shows and fan-favorite promotional nights, plus new and exciting events will highlight the 48-game home slate.
Paints' season tickets are now on sale, just in time for the holiday season. General Admission season tickets are $216.00 and Lower Level reserved season tickets are $252.00.
Group outing, picnic, birthday party and youth team party reservations are now being accepted. To make reservations, Call (740) 773-TEAM (8326) early for best selection of game dates.
