Pacific FC Prepares for Coastal Clash

Pacific Football Club have been hard at work this week as they prepare for Saturday's Coastal Clash away versus HFX Wanderers FC at 10:00 AM PST. The squad travels Thursday with four players on the injury report.

Pacific FC welcomed two BC players to their ranks this week for training, 'keepers Tyrone Venhola and Trevor Schneider. Venhola arrives on permit from USL2 side Victoria Highlanders FC and will be traveling with the team to Halifax.

"Ty finished his UNBC career and is in his third Victoria Highlanders season as we look to keep developing local talent," said Pacific FC assistant coach James Merriman."It's important we respect Trevor's NCAA eligibility, he is someone we welcome in our environment from a training perspective. He could be one for the future."

Born in Abbotsford, BC the former UNBC Timberwolves 'keeper Venhola joins the squad ahead of the big matchup on the weekend. Schneider a former 'Caps Residency 'keeper and current member of the NCAA Division 1 side University of Texas Rio Grande trained with the team this week.

Pacific FC take on HFX Wanderers FC in Halifax, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. PST. Vancouver Island fans can join in the excitement at Darcy's Pub Downtown and Westshore as well as The Strathcona Hotel. The game will also be streamed live on www.onesoccer.ca.
