P-Nats Announce Partnership and Home Run Promotion

Woodbridge, VA- The Potomac Nationals have consummated a partnership with Chick-fil-A Woodbridge for the 2012 campaign making Chick-fil-A the official chicken sandwich provider of the P-Nats. Chick-fil-A's signature staple, "The Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich" will be available for purchase at Pfitzner Stadium for 58 games during the P-Nats 35th anniversary season.

To complement the availability of delectable Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches at The Pfitz, the Potomac Nationals also reveal a season-long home run promotion presented by Chick-fil-A of Woodbridge. This off-season, the yellow foul poles overlooking a pristine, revitalized diamond have been transformed into the Chick-fil-A Fowl Poles.

All season, whenever a Potomac Nationals player belts a home run that hits either Chick-fil-A branded foul pole, all fans in attendance will receive a free chicken sandwich courtesy of area Chick-fil-A locations. When a Fowl Pole is struck by a P-Nats slugger, just bring your ticket stub to participating Chick-fil-A locations and enjoy the taste of a complimentary chicken sandwich. "We are extremely excited for this partnership and for the exceptional product our fans the will get to enjoy at Pfitzner Stadium all season long," said Potomac Nationals General Manager Josh Olerud.

Chick-fil-A of Woodbridge Operator, Luis Hevia is anticipating the inaugural relationship between his restaurant and the P-Nats franchise saying, "Chick-fil-A of Woodbridge is delighted to be a part of the Potomac Nationals upcoming baseball season and is pleased to announce that our featured product, 'The Original Chick-fil-A Sandwich,' will be sold at concessions. Chick-fil-A wishes the Potomac Nationals huge success and is very excited about our new partnership."

The P-Nats will unveil the brand new Chick-fil-A Fowl Poles on Opening Night, Friday, April 13th when Potomac hosts the Lynchburg Hillcats (Atlanta Braves) at 7:05pm.
