P-Bruins Release 2015-16 Regular Season Schedule

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND- The Providence Bruins announced the team's 2015-16 regular season schedule today, highlighted by the season opener on Friday, October 9 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

The season kicks off on Friday, October 9th at 7:05pm with Opening Night in Providence presented by Dunkin' Donuts, featuring a matchup with the WB/Scranton Penguins. On Friday, October 30 the P-Bruins host the annual "Pink in the Rink Night" presented by BankRI, which supports fundraising for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

The Providence Bruins will have a total of 76 regular season games, featuring multiple matchups against rival New England teams like the Portland Pirates (14 games), Springfield Falcons (14), Bridgeport Sound Tigers (10), and Hartford Wolf Pack (8). The schedule also includes two "back-to-back-to-back" weekends, (three consecutive home games Friday through Sunday) and games against three teams who haven't visited Providence for several seasons-Utica (1st appearance since moving to Utica), Toronto and Rochester (1st since 2008-09 for both).

The home schedule wraps up on Wednesday, April 13th at 7:05 against the Springfield Falcons, and the P-Bruins visit Bridgeport on Sunday, April 17 to take on the Sound Tigers in the final game of the regular season.
