Barracuda Announce Regular Season Schedule

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks and proud American Hockey League affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) have announced the 2015-16 regular season San Jose Barracuda schedule.

The Barracuda will play 34 regular season home games at the SAP Center at San Jose which includes 13 doubleheader games with the San Jose Sharks this season. (Please note a separate ticket is needed to attend each game). Click HERE for a printable 2015-16 San Jose Barracuda schedule.

San Jose will commence their inaugural season against the Rockford IceHogs at the SAP Center at San Jose on Friday, October 9 at 7:30pm. Tickets are as low as $12 by calling the Barracuda front office at 408-999-4747.

Twenty-five of the 34 Barracuda home games will be played on the weekends with 22 of the 25 occurring on either Saturdays or Sundays. In addition, the Barracuda will host two games during December school vacation week (Dec 28, Dec 30).

San Jose will host a season high six game home stand (Mar 13-Mar 30) and embark on a seven game road trip (Nov 11-25) this season. The 68 game regular season schedule comes to an end with a 3pm start on April 17 vs. Stockton at the SAP Center.

The 2015-16 San Jose Barracuda promotional schedule will be released in September.

- 12X - Bakersfield Condors, Ontario Reign, San Diego Gulls, and Stockton Heat

- 6X - San Antonio Rampage and Texas Stars

- 4X - Charlotte Checkers

- 2X - Iowa Wild and Rockford IceHogs

34 of the 37 players that suited up for the San Jose Sharks last season had played in the AHL at some point in their careers - including Logan Couture, Alex Stalock, Tommy Wingels, and Joe Pavelski. In fact, 17 players skated for both the San Jose Sharks and the Sharks AHL affiliate in Worcester last season.
