
P-Bruins fall to Albany

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins saw their season-high four-game winning streak and six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-1-0) on home ice come to an end on Sunday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, as they fell, 3-2 to the Albany River Rats. The Bruins are 10-8-4-0 (24 points) on the season, putting them in fourth place in the Atlantic Division. The Black and Gold is just one point behind the Manchester Monarchs and Worcester IceCats.
Bruin center Kris Vernarsky notched his fifth goal of the year, while rookie center Brett Nowak tallied his first professional goal. Providence goaltender Hannu Toivonen stopped 19 shots and is 6-4-1 on the season.
The Bruins are currently offering a Holiday FlexTix Special. The Special gives fans the opportunity to receive a free Providence Bruins hat, with the purchase of 10 FlexTix. The Holiday FlexTix promotion runs through December 31.
The Bruins return to action on Wednesday, December 3, when they visit Albany at 7:00 p.m. All the action will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550. The Bruins return home to host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday, December 5 at 7:05 p.m. They also host the Lowell Lock Monsters on Sunday, December 7 at 4:05 p.m.
