Smith Rallies Bears to 3-3 Deadlock with Penguins

D.J. Smith scored his first two goals of the season in the third period as HERSHEY earned first place outright in the East Division with a 3-3 tie at GIANT Center against the Pens. Sheldon Keefe also scored for the BEARS, his sixth goal of the season. Bruce Richardson notched a point in his second consecutive game for HERSHEY, who now own 31 points, the top mark in the American Hockey League.

The BEARS will conclude this three game homestand Wednesday when the Philadelphia Phantoms come to call at GIANT Center. Face-off is at 7:30 Wednesday night, with airtime on BIG 92.7 FM at 7:10 p.m.
