P-Bruins fall in tough game at Binghamton

The Providence Bruins and Binghamton Senators met on Saturday night in Binghamton, with the Bruins battling valiantly, but falling, 2-1. The Black and Gold is in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with its 23-20-10-2 record (58 points).

Bruin center Andre Savage tallied 14th goal of the season late in the third period, with Carl Corazzini and Zdenek Kutlak earning the assists. Savage and Ivan Huml are tied for the team goal-scoring lead with 14 apiece. Goaltender Hannu Toivonen stopped 20 shots in the loss.

The Bruins return home to host the Worcester IceCats on Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
