Freddy Meyer scores a third period hat trick for Philly as the BEARS drop their 10th straight game to the Phantoms. A crowd of 10,812 looked on, the largest crowd to ever see a BEARS game at GIANT Center. Pascal Trepanier scored his eighth goal of the season in the first period for the only HERSHEY goal of the contest. Peter Budaj ended up absorbing the loss after blanking the Phantoms into the third period. The BEARS held Philadelphia scoreless for two consecutive periods for the first time this season, but allowed four in the third period to take the defeat.

The BEARS are off until Friday when they play at Rochester against the Americans. Face off at Blue Cross Arena is at 7:35 p.m.
