Hartford, February 21, 2004 - The Hartford Wolf Pack registered shut-out number four in their last six games tonight against the Worcester IceCats. The win puts them atop their conference with 72 points, one point up on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Pack are now unbeaten in seven (6-0-1-0).
LaBarbera has gone 6-0-2 (one no decision) in his last nine games and has posted eight shutouts in his last 17 appearances. He extends his AHL record for most shutouts to 12, and the team, which surpassed the league mark last night against Bridgeport, now has 15.
The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack hockey club is part of Madison Square Garden LP. Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
