
P-Bruins announce pre-season schedule

Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins announced today their pre-season schedule for the upcoming 2002-03 season, the 11th in franchise history. New head coach Mike Sullivan and his club will play a three-game schedule before kicking off the regular season in Saint John, New Brunswick on October 11th and 12th.
The P-Bruins will play three games in four nights beginning on Wednesday, October 2nd, when they host the Springfield Falcons at 7:05 p.m. at the University of Rhode Island's new Bradford R. Boss Arena. It will be the first event in the new arena. The Bruins host the Lowell Lock Monsters at the Bridgewater Ice Arena on Friday, October 4th at 7:05 p.m. before wrapping up the pre-season schedule on Saturday, October 5th at 7:35 p.m., when they visit the Falcons at the Springfield Civic Center.
Tickets for the game at Boss Arena are $10.00 and will be available on Tuesday, September 3rd at U.R.I.'s Ryan Center (401-788-3200) and at all TicketMaster outlets (401-331-2211 or 508/617-931-2000). The P-Bruins home opener will be played on Friday, October 18th, when they host Springfield Falcons at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence at 7:05 p.m.
