
Owlz recieve the format for Poineer League championship season

Northern Colorado Owlz News Release
OWLZ Baseball has received the format for the 2005 Pioneer League Championship Season from League offices in Spokane, Washington. The format will be as following:
September 8th - last game of 2nd half
September 9th - 1st playoff game (at home of 2nd half Champs)
September 10th - 2nd playoff game in Ogden & Helena
September 11th - 3rd playoff game (if needed) in Ogden & Helena
September 12th - Off Day (travel to South)
September 13th - 1st Championship Game -Southern Division
September 14th ___ Travel Day
September 15th ___ 2nd Championship Game-Northern Division
September 16th - 3rd Championship Game-Northern Division (if needed)
Fans in attendance Monday September 5 or Tuesday September 6 can pre-purchase playoff tickets for Friday, September 9 at the Home of the OWLZ. Prices will be $1 for general admission and $3 for reserved seating as part of Fan Appreciation Night. Tickets will be good for both potential playoff games (September 9 and September 13) and are refundable in the event that a playoff game is not played in Orem. Currently the OWLZ are in first place by one game with four to play.
Fan Appreciation Night will be Tuesday, September 5 versus the Ogden Raptors and will be the last regular season home game in the OWLZ inaugural year. Each fan in attendance will leave with a door prize, and the game will be followed by a fireworks display. In addition, select merchandise will be on sale both evenings. Call 377-BALL for tickets.
