Northern Colorado Owlz News Release
HELENA- It was the final night of the road trip in Montana for the Orem Owlz and it was a day and night difference from the night before. The Owlz had everything working in their favor on Monday night, but on Tuesday it was all Brewers.
The Brewers opened up the night in the fourth inning of play as they scored the first run of the night to take the early 1-0 lead. In the seventh inning the Brewers extended the lead by scoring three runs in the inning and added another run in the eighth inning of play.
The Brewers were looking for their first shut-out of the season, but Hutton Moyer made sure the Owlz didn't fall in shut-out fashion as Moyer crossed the home plate after a Juan Moreno hit in the top of the ninth inning, but they couldn't mustard up any more runs than that as they fell in the final game in Montana.
The Owlz go 4-3 in the seven game road trip with stops in Billings (2-1) and Helena (2-2) as the Owlz will head back to Orem to open up a four game series at the "Home Of The Owlz" Thursday night as Idaho Falls comes to Orem.
