
Outlaws to honor NFL QB Rodgers

CHICO, Calif. -- The Outlaws announced Tuesday that they will host an Aaron Rodgers Tribute Night sponsored by United Health Group on Wednesday, July 1st when the Outlaws take on the Edmonton Capitals. Rodgers, the Chico native turned Green Bay Packers star quarterback, will be in attendance and will throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch.
The Outlaws players will be wearing special green and gold jersey tops that will be auctioned off during the game with all proceeds to benefit Young Life.
"It is exciting that the Outlaws will be able to honor a local sports hero and at the same time be able to support a worthy charity," said Outlaws General Manager Curt Jacey. "This promises to be a very special night for everyone in attendance."
