Outlaws Acquire Zywicki from Dragons

DENVER - June 29, 2006 - The Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse acquired attack Jeff Zywicki from the San Francisco Dragons in exchange for midfielder Mike LaMonica.

In two games with the Dragons, Zywicki posted a pair of assists and fired three shots. A member of the Canadian National Team that will compete in the World Championships from July 13-22, the 25-year-old Zywicki played in three NCAA tournaments while at the University of Massachusetts.

LaMonica netted three goals while adding an assist in two games with Denver.

The Outlaws return to action on Saturday night when they host the Los Angeles Riptide in a Western Conference game on July 1 at INVESCO Field at Mile High. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
