O'Fallon, MO - The Otters continued to play their best baseball of the season tonight, jumping out to an early 9-0 lead and cruising the rest of the way by a final of 13-4. Evansville put up a season high 13 runs on a season high 17 hits.
Evansville opened up the game in the second, plating eight of the nine runs with two outs, blasting two homeruns, a three-run shot by Daniel Burton and a two-run homer from Isaac Omura. Starting pitcher Adam Rogers (3-2) settled in after giving up four runs (three earned) in the first three innings, throwing seven innings overall, allowing 10 hits, no walks, while striking out five.
Evansville goes for the sweep tomorrow night with first pitch set for 7:05 CDT.
