Otters and BayHawks Team Up For Fans

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League and the NBA Development League Erie BayHawks are joining forces to give area fans two games for the price of one March 13 and 14 at the Tullio Arena.

Fans who purchase a ticket to the Erie BayHawks Friday, March 13 game versus the Dakota Wizards will be able to take their ticket stub to the Tullio Arena box office and receive a free ticket to the Erie Otters game, Saturday, March 14, versus the Kitchener Rangers. Fans who purchase a ticket to the Erie Otters game will be able to show their full ticket at the box office and receive a free ticket to the BayHawks game the night before.

"What could be better than the opportunity to check out two great games for the price of one?" said Shawn Waskiewicz, the Otters Assistant General Manager, Administration. "We hope Erie fans will be as excited as we are about this weekend."

"I can't think of a more fan friendly way to showcase all that Erie sports has to offer than this winning combination," said Ron Sertz, president of the BayHawks. "This is such an unbeatable deal that we think even the casual fans won't be able to resist checking out all that both teams have to offer."

The Otters (30-26-2-1) return to action Friday when they are in London to face the Knights in a 7:30 p.m. contest from the John Labatt Centre. The game can be heard live on FOX Sports Radio AM 1330 The FAN and on-line at www.ottershockey.com (presented by the James H. Cross Company) beginning with the pre-game show at 7:15 p.m.

The Otters return to the Tullio Arena for home games Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday it's the Otters and the Ottawa 67's presented by EMTA. The first 1,000 fans into the game will receive a Ryan O'Reilly lithograph penned by Kevin-John Jobczynski. Sunday it's Family Fun Day presented by Allen Insurance as the Otters face the Plymouth Whalers. The first 500 children (12 and under) into the game receive a free autograph book and all fans are invited to stick around after the game for a meet and greet with the players.
