Ottawa 67's News Release

The Ottawa 67's have obtained 17 year old goaltender Jodie O'Neill, and a 5th Round Pick in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection from the London Knights in exchange for 18 year old defenceman David Jarram.

O'Neill is a native of Nepean and has been playing this season with the Smiths Falls Bears in the CJHL. In his rookie campaign with the Bears, O'Neill, who is 5'11 and weighs 180 lbs. has appeared in 10 of the team's 13 games so far this season and has a 3.68 GAA and a .902 Save %. O'Neill was the London Knights 13th Round (260 overall) pick in the 2004 OHL Priority Selection.

David Jarram had been used sparingly this season on a crowded Ottawa 67's blueline. The Ottawa 67's acquired Jarram from the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds this past January in a two part deal along with Brad Staubitz and Jamie VanderVeeken. Jarram now joins VanderVeeken with the London Knights.
