Osterbrock Takes Home Pitcher Award

Snappers starting left hander Daniel Osterbrock earned the final 2009 Pitcher of the Week Award by the Midwest League Tuesday morning.
During the week of August 31st through September 7th, Osterbrock went 1-0 in two starts as he pitched 13 innings of work while 20 batters he faced and only gave up two earned runs.
Osterbrock finished the year with a 7-10 record with an ERA of 5.19 and struck out 140 hitters in 137 innings pitched. He also led the team with strike outs; games started (26), and was second on the team with innings pitched.
This is the second time this season where a Snapper pitcher has won the honor as fellow lefty Michael Tarsi won the same honors back on June, 22nd.
