The Missoula Osprey (15-14) swept the Helena Brewers (9-19) in a two-game series with an 11-4 win on Wednesday from Ogren Park Allegiance Field.
It was Helena's eighth straight loss, setting a season-high for losing streak.
A majority of the scoring for the O's came in the third when six runs scored on three hits. Stewart Ijames hit a grand slam off of J.B. Kole (2-3) to lead the way for Missoula. It was the second grand slam that the Brewers have given up this season and they have both been to the Osprey.
Ijames homered again in the fourth, this time a two-run homer off Donnie Hissa. Ijames was 2-for-5 in the game with six RBI in all.
Tucker Neuhaus hit a three-run home run in the eighth for Helena to extend his hitting streak to 12 games. Neuhaus was 0-for-2 in the game up to that point and on the verge of ending his streak before lining one over the right field fence in his final at-bat.
Josh Uhen pitched three shutout innings of relief for the Brewers, giving up just one hit and striking out one.
The Brewers now head to Great Falls to take on the Voyagers at Centene Stadium. First pitch from the first game of a double-header on Thursday is set for 6:00 p.m.
